Occasionally (okay, lets be honest… mostly) I find a prompt that gets my imagination going. This week’s 100 Word Challenge meshed with The Darkroom, both hosted by Thin Spiral Notebook, did exactly that.
Enjoy this 100 word peek into the darker corner of my imagination.
“No. It’s mine. Give it back!” Amelia reached out with her free arm, but Alicia held the old photo just out of reach.
“Technically, it’s mine too.”
“I’m tired of sharing everything with you,” Amelia pouted.
“Me, too!”
The sisters glared at each other in the mirror. Hatred spewed from their crinkled faces. They shared a body with two heads and shared everything else except opinions. Separation was necessary, but one of them would die.
“I’m scheduling the surgery,” Alicia said with an evil twinkle in her eyes.
“Over my dead body,” Amelia quipped.
Alicia cackled. “That can be arranged.”

And i thought my relationship with my brother was tricky. Yikes!
