It has been a busy couple months around here as Elven Games released March 7, then Absolution: A Crazy Ink Anthology (with my short story Pray for Me) released March 30. I’m not quite done yet, however. Zombie Pirate Publishing put out a call for flash fiction and I answered. I submitted four works of flash knowing they would only accept one. And they did!! They accepted my speculative fiction piece titled “Home Again.” This is the one where an introverted teen gets mistaken for a mental disorder and succumbs to her new life.

I have been awaiting Flash Fiction Addiction since January and it’s FINALLY HERE!!

About the Book:

FLASH FICTION ADDICTION
A Zombie Pirate Publishing Anthology

Blurb:A daring pirate raid on a merchant ship ends in disaster. A dominatrix loses her dog. Officers count the terrible cost of human life in the wake of battle. A casting director comes face to face with his childhood bully. And why has a death sentence been issued for everyone named John Smith?

These are but a few of the thrilling tales inside. We’ve gathered authors from around the world into this compendium of fast fiction fixes. Each of these one hundred and one super short stories can be read in only a few minutes, just enough time as you wait for your high speed transport to arrive and whisk you away to your next adrenaline packed adventure.

Post Author: Stephanie

Stephanie Ayers writes speculative fiction, where horror and fantasy collide. She is a self proclaimed word whisperer and unicorn living in Ohio disguised as a human. She mothers her children and avoids all things housework and zombies. When she isn't doing any of these things, she can be found browsing thrift stores and flea markets with her husband, attending football games with her son, or binging on TV shows.
