Kitchen Smack: Low Carb Big Mac Bowl

Low Carb Big Mac Bowl

Low Carb Big Mac Bowl

It’s creamy, and tangy, and totally amazing. And it's the perfect solution for diabetics or those on a keto diet craving the yummy goodness of a Big Mac without the carbs and without sacrificing the taste. This is the best recipe for Big Mac sauce I've tried so far. I slather this on my cheeseburgers too, but this bowl is out of this world good!

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • ½ cup diced onions
  • 1 cup Shredded cheese
  • 6 cups Cabbage shredded
  • 4 Mini Dill Pickles sliced
  • Special Sauce
  • 1/2 cup Mayonnaise
  • 4 tablespoon Dill pickle relish
  • 2 tablespoon Yellow mustard
  • 1 teaspoon White wine vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon Paprika
  • 1 teaspoon Onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic powder

  1. In a skillet over medium-high heat brown the ground beef. When almost cooked through add the onions and continue cooking until the ground beef is cooked and the onions are translucent. Drain the grease, salt and pepper the ground beef to taste, and set aside.
  2. In the same skillet add a small amount of olive oil and the shredded cabbage. Saute until cabbage is slightly softened. Salt and pepper to taste.
  3. Divide the cabbage between 4 bowls, top each with a portion of the ground beef.
  4. Sprinkle each with 1/4 cup of shredded cheese and top with pickle slices.
  5. Pour the special sauce over the Low Carb Big Mac Bowl and enjoy!
  6. Special Sauce
  7. In a small bowl whisk together all of the ingredients and set aside.

You can save the extra sauce and store in your fridge like salad dressing. This saves you a step or two in the process.
