About a month ago, I shared a cover reveal with you for The Assassin’s Prophecy. Today, I’m back with an interview with Jeremy, the main character from the story.

The Interview

Name: Jeremy, son of Blakis

Occupation: Assassin

Age: 19

1.What do you consider your greatest achievement?

My greatest achievement? Lets see… I would have to say growing the balls to tell my father to shuvit and joined up with the Assassin Association. Talk about a big lifestyle change. I have told no one who my father really is. You imagine joining the ranks of assassins with them knowing your father is one of the top five lords that can rival the King for power.

  1. What is your best physical feature?

Man, you ask hard questions… I would have to say my face, after all I’m gorgeous. At least that’s what the ladies tell me from my nights of antics around the town.

  1. What is your most treasured possession?

Na, don’t have none. I don’t believe in letting material things get in my way. Probably due to my upbringing. When you have everything handed to you it kind of dulls the need of treasuring anything above the rest.

  1. What or who is the greatest love of your life?

I love no one. Esmë the Unicorn (you will read about in my story) kept telling me I would find someone to love. I don’t completely believe her. But hey, if love happens it sure the hell won’t end my life. Unless my father sticks his nose into anything. But, after my antics in Vladimir I highly doubt he will want to acknowledge my existence again. Thank the gods for small blessing right.

  1. What is your favorite journey?

Katie will kill me if I give anything away about my story before you all read it. So, I guess my favorite journey is when I met the hot sexy Malone. Talk about a badass chick that takes the term “deadly beauty” to a new level. Oh, crap! I can’t give this away either. Man, sorry… don’t want to ruin things for upcoming stories that will get released.

But, it will give you a reason to sign-up for Katie’s Dragon Ryder VIP Reader’s List. Each month she releases an exclusive tale to her members.

  1. What is your most marked characteristic?

Not sure, entirely. I’m known for my slender built. Several of my trainers throughout my time at the Assassin Association stated my reflexes remind them of the elves’ fighting style. They compare me to cats sometimes. Not my fault the old farts can’t keep up.

  1. Define happiness and share your happiest memory.

Happiness? Happiness? I guess if I had to describe it, it would be contentment. The idea of living your life the way you want without the worries of others. Growing up, I didn’t have a lot of happy memories once my mother died. My father was a real hard ass. He wanted me to be things I’m not and being the only heir to his estate didn’t help matters. I just wanted to be free to make my own choices. So, when I was sixteen I had enough. I left home and made my way into the world, not knowing anything about how society really was.

I had hard days a plenty. There was a long adjustment period from going to having money to none. I didn’t even understand the truth of family and how they are suppose to really behave towards each other. But my perspective changed when I found Malone and the Assassin Association. I guess without droning on forever like a woman, I would say finding my true family among the order was my happy memory.

  1. What is it that you most dislike?

Hate people born into power that think the world belongs to them. I mean really, just because you popped out of a noblewoman’s womb doesn’t mean you are god. It means you better the hell figure out your purpose before you take over the estate. Or like in my case, I denounced my claim altogether, leaving my father’s legacy in shambles.

  1. What is your greatest fear?

When you’re going through training to be an assassin, you’re broken of your fears. But after meeting Esmë, I find myself fearful of the future. I have a new ability I never understood and what about this woman I love. I’m supposed to save her from something, but what? See, this is why prophecies suck. They leave you wondering and fearful to live your life, let alone let your guard down.

  1. What is your greatest extravagance?

Women. I love having attention thrown at me from many women. Probably from living as a nobleman’s son you get used to it. But out in the real world, you either pay or hope the women think you’re worth their time. It’s definitely a change of pace, but I don’t have too much of a problem. After all, I mentioned I am gorgeous right?

  1. Who do you most despise?

Guess, bet you know the answer without me saying it. If you can’t figure it out with my discontent, then I guess I’ll tell you. My father! The man can rot in the abyss!

  1. What is your greatest regret?

Not living up to my mother’s expectations of me. She was a good woman I don’t understand how she came to be my father’s wife. I still grieve for her after all these years. I was only five when she passed away. Her last words were “Live life to your whims, Jeremy, not to others.”

Wise words from a mother, right!

  1. Which talent would you most like to have?

I have enough talent thank you. Better not to wish you had something, then all you do is spend your life searching for it. Then you end up dying with regrets or worse, failure.

  1. What is the trait you most deplore in yourself?

Trusting people is hard. Growing up thinking you should trust your father but can’t, really messes with a kid’s head. I always felt on edge with the man, even more now than anything. You should be able to trust your own blood, right?

  1. What do you most value in your friends?

Awww… Interesting question. I guess the main reason I’m so drawn to Malone is because she puts me in my place. She doesn’t let me get away with shit, and that is the best thing ever. Especially, since I am known for pissing people off and get into loads of trouble. I have plenty of other friends too, but Malone is my favorite. Probably because she is a girl with a nice ass to stare at.

  1. Who do you most admire?

Hands down it would be Brent. He is the head of the Assassin Association. He worked his way up through the ranks till he became the boss man on his own merits. Love the guy. He pushed me beyond my own abilities and takes none of my shit.

  1. What do you consider the most overrated virtue?

Friendliness. I am known for being a friendly guy with a bad knack for being a smartass. However, some of it is just me hiding behind a mask. You see smiles, laughter, and happiness; when deep down I am in turmoil over things in my life. Or, I could just be on a job and you’re my mark. Trust me if you’re my target my pretty smile will be the death of you.

  1. Which words or phrases are you known for?

Shitweeds

Fireballs

And what’s up sexy ass!

  1. If you could change one thing about yourself, what would it be?

Not having an ass hat for a father! Oh wait, not being of noble birth.

  1. What is your motto?

Kill or be killed.

Character Bio:

Hey everyone, hope you’re enjoying your day. If you haven’t heard I went on a mission the other day, you will soon read about in my book, The Assassin’s Prophecy. But, to avoid spoilers I thought I would tell you about myself.

I’m a twisted sort of guy. I love pissing people off, ask my father he will agree. Spent my younger years making his life a living hell. The nice thing about this mission is no-matter the outcome I will destroy his name. Living the life of a nobleman sucks. Trust me money isn’t everything when you have an ass-hat for a father.

You’re probably thinking this is the worst introduction ever, but hey not my problem. Got questions ask away, I‘ll just be lying around driving Malone nuts. Did I mention she has an ass that drives me wild!
