Hello! Welcome to Day 2 of my 31 Days of Halloween feature! I have the honor of introducing you to T. Elizabeth Guthrie, another author who publishes with Crazy Ink. I have an exclusive interview to share with you today. Enjoy!
The Interview:
Today we are sitting down with T. Elizabeth Guthrie/T. E. Guthrie to talk about the Phantom Chillers series and what makes you tick.
So, you’re a horror author. When did you first realize you loved horror?
*From the moment I could read, I’ve read everything I could get my hands on. Horror came out on the top early on.
Where do your scary story ideas come from?
*A very fertile imagination and life itself.
You’re on an abandoned farm. You have 3 monsters—Pennywise, a scarecrow, and Pinhead— headed your way. Who do you kill first and what weapon do you use? Will you survive?
*None, I get into my truck and take off, lol. And yes, I survive.
(Interviewer interrupts: Well, unless you’re facing Leatherface. He just might get in the car with you.)
Are you afraid of the dark?
*Used to be but not anymore. I love being outside on my property in the dark.
Trick or treat or pass out candy, which Halloweener are you?
So many books, so little time. What’s one horror book you’ll never get tired of?
*Pet Sematery by Stephen King
Which book was the hardest to write for you? Why?
*The first one because I was unsure of myself and the how it would be received.
And finally, what three pieces of advice would you give a fledgling horror writer?
*GO FOR IT. You’ll never know if you can do it, until you try. *Don’t let anybody tell you that you can’t. *Find a good publisher.
